Syndicate Assault Community: History of Syndicate Assault

We, the members of Syndicate Assault ratified this document on Thursday, November 21st, 2009. This document is to regulate all the actions of the Syndicate Assault members, from Founder to Recruit. To maintain order and create a detailed log of the events that happen to make Syndicate Assault. Founded in 2004, Syndicate Assault has evolved to host and maintain one of the most popular, and longest running Counter-Strike servers ever.

Part I - Introduction to the ashes

Section I - The Background beginnings

The legacy begins with one Dark Empire clan member presently known as Mikie. He had become bored with Dark Empires's website. They had used the same layout for years. Mikie decided to use his talents and help out his clan by making new layouts for their website and fixing script problems. His efforts turned out to be in vane, for the Clan leader Commander Tassadar did not want to change the site. This upset Mikie for he felt that Commander Tassadar didn't let him help the clan in the ways he knew how, and did not fully appreciate his hard work. Mikie fought his issue until he had been banned from the Dark Empire channel (Op D)e). Mikie, angered by the lack of respect in the Dark Empire clan and encouraged by PySoMaNiC by the desire for revenge, successfully hacked into the Dark Empire website and brought it down. The Dark Empire site remained that way for a period of two months. (DE`s site was restored February 27, 2005)Soon after the Dark Empire had fallen for ever.

Section II - The Birth of Syndicate Assault

PySoMaNiC then decided to found the Syndicate clan along with his good friend Mikie. PySoMaNiC worked on the website layouts while Mikie wrote the first Syndicate Assault scripts. The earliest versions of the SA scripts have been modified and were being used by many other clans. PySoMaNiC at the time did not know PHP those forth was unable to keep the scripts up-to-date after Mikie Left.

Syndicate Assault was just a baby and it was growing slowly with new members joining everyday if it was from his bots advertising or him just inviting good friends and players in games to come and help start this great new clan. Things where good and life was just starting to get good.

Section III - Creation of the system

As with most young clans, many problems arose. Most new clan attempts find early hardships too difficult and do not survive. However, PySoMaNiC and Mikie persevered and pulled their struggling clan to its feet. This was no easy task. It took a lot of hard work getting Syndicate Assault up and running. When SA was first founded, PySoMaNiC and Mikie tried to entice members from the clan Dark Empire to join them with offerings of higher rank and many DE members were eager to join SA. However, many returned to DE shortly after leaving. Clan Syndicate Assault struggled to survive. With fewer than 8 members the outlook was grim. The op channel remained empty most of the time, and the current recruiting system was not working. In short, Syndicate Assault was going nowhere, and the future looked grim.

Part II - Building up Syndicate Assault

Section I - Dark Empire

Then, near the end of March 2005, the former Darkempire Major General FluX(DE) decided to assist PySoMaNiC and Mikie with recruiting new Syndicate Assault members. FluX agreed to recruit for the Syndicate Assault Clan as the Dark Empire clan seemed to be at a standstill while trying to get their site back up. Though FluX did not want to join the clan, he was given the name Marine[SA] for the purposes of recruiting new members. In just a few days the number of Syndicate Assault members tripled. In total Marine[SA] was responsible for recruiting over 24 new members. Along with the help of the new recruits, the clan kept up its growth and the future went from that of bitter defeat to one of success.

Now, the former General from the DE had little hope of seeing their clans site restored. In the meantime, FluX(DE) seeing his assistance prosper into the SA clan decided to remain. He was recruited as Marine[SA]. Unfortunately Marine[SA] did not stay long, The Dark Empire Clan eventually got its website up and running. Though Marine had reached the rank of General in his 5 days in the SA clan, he chose to return to his former clan. Though with the loss of such a good recruiter as Marine, Syndicate Assault began to thrive. With a much better foundation than before, the clan was able to fully stand on it's own. The Channel remained active with the members Syndicate Assault had and recruiting was highly successful.

Section II - The War Begins

The hard times were still not over, 4 months later in the month of June 2005 SA had its first full out war with Clan JST. PySoMaNiC at that point was just learning how to flood and load channels. His friend a cdkey seller gave some 150 keys over to PySoMaNiC to practice and use. He used those 150 keys to bring clan JST to its knees. PySoMaNiC`s keys soon started to become voided and banned. He had nothing more then 47 keys left to flood with. A member in the SA clan Alexy knew someone in the JST clan and got him to join SA. The JST member was SniperJ]S[T, he lent his account to PySoMaNiC to get Ops in the JST channel. He failed to get Ops, but was able to hack their website. Once the website had fallen so did the clan. The Syndicate Assault later had to face more hardships.

Section III - The Falling out

The date is March 2006, things hadn't been going to good with PySoMaNiC and His new right hand man Subtitle. Later that night Subtitle had yet again disrespected PySoMaNiC. Having been angered by Subtitle many times that same week he had enough. PySoMaNiC Banned for life Subtitle from the clan. Subtitle trying to fake what he had done told all SA members that he had left the clan. He later tried to take SA members into his clan. Most of the current SA members had enough of this fight, some left to go with Subtitles new clan and others just left. The SA clan was down to almost Zero members. Their rested PySoMaNiC[SA], Tupac[SA], and Sandman[SA]. PySoMaNiC later appointed Tupac his new right hand man, and Sandman his third. PySoMaNiC had setup a new CS 1.6 Server for the clan with a better connection. He hosted a 18 Man server which had a little lag but over all was a good server. Sandman & PySoMaNiC started to recruit again, and brought the clan to were it is today. Tupac was absent for reasons still unknown to this day. He has now come back and is welcomed for it. The new members that have joined the clan had made it into a great clan, that continues to grow!
The date is October 2006, PySoMaNiC had left to start expanding Syndicate Assault into Maple Story with a fellow clan member IGrande. While PySoMaNiC was gone he trusted his Counter-Strike Side of the clan with his Generals, We would still post on the forums. One night PySoMaNiC got a PM from a couple members explaining that some members were planning to destroy SA by taking all its members and spreading around that PySoMaNiC was a hacker. Well PySoMaNiC returned and fixed everything up within a few days everything was over and the dust had settled. Almost half the clan was gone and only the loyal members remained. This was actual a good thing since for a while now the generals were trying to figure out who was loyal and who was just staying around because we offered the best service to them.

Part III - Re-Creation of Syndicate Assault

Section I - New Website

Late October 2006 PySoMaNiC re-did the website and fixed errors in the website also Fixed Rankings, Medals, And A lot of other things as well as redoing the forums. The clan was finally ready to start back up again with its 2 servers running perfectly. All the members that were left all gave up there time to help the clan and it started to grow with 5 new trial members and lots more to come!

Section II - New Servers

Its been about a year since the last mass leaving, its now June 2007 and PySoMaNiC & SpeedNinja have both put in a requirement for everyone to scan for hacks on their computers. It was starting to become a huge success with just a few people found dirty for hacks. Three Officers were then found for hacks that had been used just a few days before, PySoMaNiC like everyone else who was scanned for cheats banned all 3 of the members. They then started there own clan and started to take all the members that had scanned positive for hacks onto their team. Then Kevin[SA] suddenly for no reason back stabbed us after Almost 1 Year of loyal service and went to create his own clan. PySoMaNiC was left to take care of the clan with help from his very active high ranking officers.

Its now then ending to June 2007, things seem to be heading in the right direction. PySoMaNiC with the help of other people in the clan was able to open up recruiting for CS 1.6 and CSS, people donated and he was able to get the clan a starting CSS server for the new members. Within 2 days Syndicate Assault had over 20+ trial members waiting to join the clan and the true loyal members showing their selves to PySoMaNiC he was able to pick who would become the next Commanders. A New very loyal member, d.eagle[SA] was able to show him self very loyal, after being away for over two months had come back to support the clan with hackers in all our servers at night. He is also the main reason we are able to afford many things today I would like everyone to thank him for his hard work and loyalty to this clan. Section III - New Beginnings

"We Live not for ourselves, but for those within our Community" This single quote long decided at the formation for Syndicate Assault became a mission, to provide and create a great clan in which anyone could join as long as they played to enjoy the game. Now, After the Third Mass Leaving, Syndicate Assault is Rebuilding once again, Even more loyal members are popping up, and helping with the relentless push toward a great clan. PySoMaNiC a true and great leader, sticking with this clan and will stick with it till the very end, with SA now spreading into new games, Warcraft 3, Counter-Strike Source, Day of Defeat, the clan becomes stronger everyday

Section IV - With Leaders Standing

Now with great revelations ahead, SpeedNinja accepting a position at ooorgle he is learning better ways of advertisement which would benefit his clan. One Loyal and Great member Colonel Mowey, Now leading the Counter-Strike Source section with his recruiting skills, is leading the Syndicate-Assault movement into CSS. Trident another great and loyal member leading the Syndicate-Assault movement into DOD. Though Syndicate-Assault is fighting a mediocre war with former members who were removed for hacks. Syndicate-Assault will come out on top everything.

Section V - All good things come to an end

Its been a long awaited for update to the clan history Ending of May 2009, after all the un loyal members of the clan left PySoMaNiC started to recruit again looking for new prospecting members and dedicated officers. Unfortunately a few months down the road another war was immerging within the clan, this time with a lot more than a few officers / enlisted members. The 4 Star general SpeedNinja had decided to leave after a fallout between PySoMaNiC kicking and banning w00ters for trying to kill the WC3 Clan and disabling everyone on the SA website (which was fixed with a simple restore). Now with two high ranking generals gone from the clan, and the recent resignations of 3 other commanders PySoMaNiC was stuck with just a few loyal members to rebuild his clan. With determination and alot of effect they were able to later recruit such loyal members as, 2 Star General Wormburner, Fallen, and Grady. With the help of these dedicated and loyal members PySoMaNiC was able to start on his way to the great and prosperous clan that you see before you today.

Later on in the months to come other very loyal and dedicated members made their ways into the ranks, such as CopKilla[SA], Secks[SA], Golden3ye[SA]and many more. They were able to gather together over $750 in donations over the course of just 3 months. With this abundance of cash PySoMaNiC was able to secure the future of Syndicate Assault. He pre-paid for the Clan Domain & Hosting for 2 years, Increased the Ventrilo Slots and duration to 1 Year, The 32 slot public server pre-paid for 1 year, 12 slot private server pre-paid for 6 months, and a new 16 slot DeathMatch pre-paid for 6 months. Now once again a fallout is about foreseen to happen within the clan over the next couple of weeks, with a very high ranking officer being banned for hacking. More and more members start to leave the clan unable to accept the fact that their beloved friend really was cheating. Now again PySoMaNiC & Hellfire are left with his loyal and dedicated members to pick up the pieces and start again in a few weeks. With all the servers paid for the year, and donations right on track it seems like this time Syndicate Assault can easily recover from this falling out of members. With the hope that one day Syndicate Assault never has to deal with another falling out we tip our hats to the future, and hope for the best. “We come out of the ashes each and every time, no one can kill the spirit of the Syndicate.”

Part IV - New Year New Start

Section I - Let us Rise Again

Once again I read over the history of our clan and just imagine how much hard work and dedication I've put into this clan, the amount of fun that has come from being the founder and meeting so many different and interesting people. I am proud to say that this loss of members over the last few months has proven to me once again how people can change in the blink of an eye, even people you know in real life. I read that quote once and a while and I just hope that over the course of my lifetime while running this clan I can find someone as dedicated as myself to help lead this clan once I am gone. All these years and only 1 member has proven me wrong and I thank him for his everlasting support and dedication to my idea. I made Syndicate Assault because I was tired of all the clans dying no matter how old 1, 2, 3 years. I stick by the what I had promised my self 5 years ago to keep this clan alive forever and I shall do my best to do so. I just want to thank all the members who have shown their dedication and I just hope that they also have the same Idea as myself for the future of this clan. Once again thank you to everyone, and my right hand man HellFire.

Alright well I figured its about time to update the history, I just recently (today) fixed both our private and public servers totally reinstall everything on the machine including the operating system. Fresh new amxx files and plugins to make sure nothing is corrupted, the Dust2 Server is popular like normal and things are running smoothly we usually get enough but most of the time more then enough each month in donations. With that in mind I bought us the domains URL Link URL Link URL Link I will be keeping team-sa.net for the next 5 years until its slowly forgotten. We recently said a permanently good bye to one of our PAST female generals alonepants. We have dealt with the backstabbers and leavers of the clan and we are slowly growing strong. Myself and hellfire are now preparing the clan for the grand opening of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 in November as that will officially become our main game of the clan if things go well. With all that being said I have a feeling we will also with alot of hard work in a few months have the most popular Dust2 & COD6 Servers in the world. With that being done I hope in a few years we can stand firm ground on at least 5 games. That being said I mean 50 or more members for each game and a commander for each section of the clan. Thats all to report for now on October 13th 2009

Section II - Early Christmas

November 21st 2009, its my great pleasure to be updating this along side with our brand new all redesigned website. This new system has the power of all our 5 websites together in one easy to navigate system. With the help of a member who seems to slowly be making his name heard jon[SA] is helping PySoMaNiC with the design and flash of this new website system while PySoMaNiC as usual had to re-learn his php as the last time he used it was years back when re-making the website. The website currently as this is being written is 90% complete with the only thing left to get members and the community to sign up and help us grow the website. Now with plans to start expanding into Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and new and exciting beta stage game called Heroes of Newerth we expect Syndicate Assault to have a great new year. The SA public server is just as popular as always and again is planned to be up for atlest another 3 years along side the deathmatch server.

Section III - New Years

It is now March 1st 2010 and its with great pleasure that I do this update, well a lot has happened to Syndicate Assault. We seem to like going up and down just like the stock market, and this time we are going way up baby. Well first off we sadly had to close our CS private and deathmatch servers as we could not afford the funds for them. Although that was a bit of a downfall we did keep our Dust2 server and for awhile it was very dead in comparison to its past glory. PySoMaNiC took some time to fix the Dust2 server up and do some of the request that had been pending from community members. Although the expansion into Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 didn't go to well as we expected in 2009. In 2010 however start February we had a huge jump in everything related to our community. We have been recruiting tons of new MW2 members all of which are extremely active in vent and in game. We officially finished a tournament in Syndicate Assault for the first time in history; Call of Duty MW2 1v1. We where graced once again by long forgotten Co-Commander SpeedNinja and things just keep going up, we are releasing our Bad Company 2 server March 2nd and hope to be one of the most popular in the world once again. Everything in general for Syndicate Assault is just looking amazing and I am pretty sure the future is very very bright.

Everything listed in this document is subject to change provided the requirements are met thathave been defined in Preamble. All amendments will be addressed by the number they were approved and added to this document were seen fit.
